Corn Starch

Native and Edible Starch

Starch, as a critical raw material in different industries, has an extensive usage in different fields. Hence, a large part of agriculture in different countries has been allocated to the production of corn, wheat, barley, potatoes and other starchy grains, in order to prepare the material for the production of this crop.

The starch produced from each above product has specific physical and chemical conditions that are used in many different factories as needed.

Starch is produced in different grades for different uses:

Industrial starches are used in the production of various sugars such as glucose, fructose, dextrose, etc. In the paper industry, carton industry, adhesives, paint industry, oil wells, cosmetics, textile And so on.

– In the carton industry, the quality of printing, low water absorption, proper adhesion of the layers, and the biodegradability of the adhesive used to make starch in a high position as a suitable material. Starch glue is used for bonding coats, corrugated cardboard, and paper bag and so on.

The starch used in carton industry is usually taken from corn and can be consumed purely or with pre-made chemicals. In this industry, corn starch will perform better than other starches. Because this type of starch is very effective in viscosity stability, and the adhesive produced with this starch keeps the water, and does not easily lose it, so the starch in the adhesive acts better and tighter in the vicinity of the heat.

– Varieties of modified starches with different properties are also being produced and consumed in Iran. Fortunately, domestic producers focusing on product quality have taken great steps in Iran, to decrease dependence on the importing this product from overseas. Modified starches are very diverse and have special applications in industries that can be widely used as an alternative to expensive chemical compounds.

– As starch improves the physical properties of the material, the food industry is one of the most widely areas using this material.

Starch is indirectly used in the production of many edible products, through the production of the abovementioned sugars from starch.

– Directly usage in dairy products, desserts, ready-to-eat food, baking powders, cakes, biscuits, crackers, canned goods, meat industries, frozen foods, ice cream, chewing gum, coffee and all kinds of sauces.

– The pharmaceutical industry is also one of the most important and strategic industries that take special starches for medicine.

COME ON Co. is prepared to supply starch as the raw material of these industries according to the expected application of any industry, and submit suitable starches.
